Cardiology Services at Western Medical Center Santa Ana provides a comprehensive range of patient services from prevention through rehabilitation. We believe in prevention first, so that's why we offer screenings for conditions such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Our diagnostic services include non-invasive procedures, as well as cardiac catheterization. Of course we also provide a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures, such as: rotoblator, stents, angioplasty, coronary bypass graft surgery and valve surgery.
We have a strict prioritization process that puts the welfare and concerns of patients first; then doctors next; followed by the department as a whole and finally the staff. Everyone who works in the cardiology department agrees to these priorities, creating a better environment for teamwork and efficiency.
We're so dedicated to patient care and strive to obtain complete data from or patients. We also invite patients to speak with a nurse the day before surgery to discuss the procedure or to ask any questions they may have. After a patient has angioplasty or open heart surgery, a registered nurse follows up with you regularly after the procedure.
